Ferntree Rainforest Lodges offers guests a choice of Garden Loft Rooms or Poolside Rooms. The resort is alive with sounds of the rainforest and provides a tranquil base to explore the spectacular wilderness area.

Poolside Room: Poolside rooms provide a resort feel with an upstairs private balcony overlooking the lagoon-style pool. Rooms have a spacious living with lounge, sleeping area and ensuite facilities with combined bath and shower. Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults & Children.

Garden Loft Room: Set in the tropical gardens, these rooms are perfect for families. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, containing a separate loft bedroom upstairs. The downstairs room features a lounge and verandah deck overlooking the lush gardens. Bedding is 1 King Bed + 2 Single Beds OR 4 Single Beds. Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults & Children.

Dining

Cassowary Cafe: The Cassowary Cafe is situated overlooking the main pool at Ferntree Rainforest Lodge. The Cafe consists of 2 dining huts built into the rainforest along with a main building and outside deck. The tropical style adds to the ambience and wonder of the Lodge itself. Open daily for Breakfast and Dinner.

Ferntree Rainforest Lodge has two bars, each by one of the Resort's two pools. Cassowary Cafe Bar is just the right spot to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and the Daintree Bar offers a lively atmosphere with pool table, internet terminals and a juke box - a great place to relax with old friends or make new ones.

Guests staying at Ferntree Rainforest Lodge and who maybe looking for a more intimate dining experience are welcome to dine at The Cape Restaurant and Bar at the sister property nearby, Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa which has reciprocal room charge facilities. The Cape Restaurant and Bar focuses on fresh local ingredients with an a la carte menu which caters to all diets. Open daily for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner from May - November.

Additional Information

Children: One child aged 0-14 stays free of charge when using existing bedding. Cots are available at an additional charge payable direct to the property
Important Note: There is no mobile phone coverage provided by any Telco in the Cape Tribulation/Draintree Rainforest region. Self drive guest will need to use the Daintree River Ferry, one way cost is approximtely $20 cash only.
